Vredestein brand partnership with Hellendoorn Rally Foundation expanded for 2024
The Vredestein logo will feature prominently at this year’s Eurol Hellendoorn Historic Rally powered by Vredestein. This is the result of an expanded sponsorship agreement between event organisers and Apollo Tyres, the owner and manufacturer of the award-winning Vredestein premium tyre brand in Europe.
The rally will take place on 21 September and will see intense competition between 35 teams from nations around the world, including Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK.
Vredestein has been closely associated with the rally since 2023 and, at this year’s event, the Dutch brand’s logo will feature on arches, flags and banners across each stage, as well as on all cars taking part in both the historic and Eurol Hellendoorn rallies.
A major feature of the classic motorsport calendar in the Netherlands, the Hellendoorn Historic Rally is expected to welcome more than 50,000 visitors and will be broadcast to Dutch TV channel RTL7, further leveraging exposure for the Vredestein brand.
Yves Pouliquen, Vice President, Commercial, Europe at Apollo Tyres, commented: “Vredestein is an iconic Dutch brand with a rich heritage and a close association with historic motorsport, so it seemed fitting to step up our ties with this iconic event. Hellendoorn is only 40km away from Enschede, where one of our European factories is located, and the event offers great exposure for the brand. We look forward to supporting the Netherlands ‘most beautiful rally’ and witness thrilling competition between some fabled rallying machines.”
The Vredestein brand is a familiar sight at some of the world’s most iconic classic car rallies and has been ‘Official Tyre Partner’ of the iconic 1000 Miglia rally since 2017.
The Vredestein product portfolio includes products created specifically for classic and vintage cars. The Sprint Classic, Sprint+, Snow Classic, Grip Classic and Transport Classic all combine traditional styling with very modern performance characteristics to optimise safety, comfort and driver satisfaction.
