Apollo Tyres to unveil full EnduMile long-haul range at IAA Transportation

07-09-2026 Apollo, Truck & Bus

Apollo Tyres Ltd will launch three new EnduMile long-haul tyres at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany (15-20 September), all developed in Europe to deliver an optimised balance of high mileage, fuel efficiency and durability, helping fleet operators reduce tyre purchase and ownership costs.

The new EnduMile LHA, LH Front and LHD tyres join Apollo Tyres’ established EnduMile LHT trailer tyre, completing the brand’s line-up of products developed specifically for long-haul fleets.

The EnduMile portfolio has been developed to address a key challenge for long-haul operators by maximising fuel efficiency without compromising tyre life. While low rolling resistance can support reduced fuel consumption, operators also need tyres capable of delivering consistently high mileages to minimise whole-life operating costs. The EnduMile range has been engineered to deliver an optimal balance of these attributes.

The EnduMile LHA and LH Front have both been designed primarily for steer-axle applications. The EnduMile LHA offers all-position capability, while the EnduMile LHD has been designed for drive-axle applications. The whole EnduMile range carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake marking, certifying suitability for use in demanding winter conditions.

EnduMile LHA and LH Front for long-haul steer-axle applications

Available in 315/70 R22.5, the EnduMile LHA is an all-position tyre designed primarily for steer-axle applications. It features a slim, compact tread design with a wide contact area, while its optimised footprint promotes even wear, precise steering response and high levels of stability. In controlled European field testing, the EnduMile LHA delivered 10% greater mileage than a leading tier 1 competitor.

Interlocking 3D sipes facilitate confident grip in the wet, and the design of the tread pattern has ensured the tyre achieves an A rating for external road noise. Apollo Tyres’ Invisible Groove Technology gradually changes the shape of the grooves as the tyre wears, helping maintain dependable grip on wet and snowy roads throughout its life.

A specially engineered tread compound with reinforced polymer technology supports high mileages, aids fuel efficiency and maximises resistance to damage. The tyre’s reinforced bead area and specially engineered carcass optimise durability during demanding long-haul use. Available in 385/55 R22.5 size, the EnduMile LH Front is a size extension of the LHA pattern, sharing its slim, compact tread design, wide contact area and interlocking 3D sipes.

EnduMile LHD for long-haul drive-axle applications

The EnduMile LHD drive tyre will be available in 315/70 R22.5 and has been developed to deliver an enhanced balance of mileage and fuel efficiency for long-haul fleets. Its directional block-rib tread design maintains a wide contact footprint with optimised pressure distribution for strong traction, consistent wear and extended mileage. In controlled European field testing, the EnduMile LHD delivered up to 20% greater mileage than a leading tier 1 competitor.

Interlocking centre blocks improve stability and support efficient torque transfer, while a new-generation tread compound with hybrid filler technology enhances durability, fuel efficiency and resistance to damage.

Like the LHA, it achieves an A rating for external road noise and features Invisible Groove Technology to help maintain dependable grip throughout the life of the tyre. A reinforced bead area and specially engineered carcass strengthen the tyre structure, helping it withstand demanding road conditions and deliver consistent performance.

A complete EnduMile range for every axle

The three new products build on Apollo Tyres’ entry into the dedicated long-haul segment in 2023 with the EnduMile LHT, its first long-haul trailer tyre. A second LHT size followed in 2024 in response to strong customer demand.

Now available in 385/55 R22.5 and 385/65 R22.5 sizes, the EnduMile LHT is A rated for rolling resistance and external road noise. Its free-rolling tread pattern, broad contact patch and advanced compound help minimise fuel consumption and promote even wear, while its robust carcass supports retreadability and reduced operational costs.

“Completing the EnduMile range represents an important milestone for Apollo Tyres and demonstrates our commitment to the European truck and bus market,” says Daniele Lorenzetti, Chief Technology Officer at Apollo Tyres Ltd. “Long-haul operators can be wary of low rolling resistance tyres if improved fuel efficiency comes at the expense of the high mileages they expect. With the EnduMile range, we have worked towards balancing fuel efficiency and mileage to help fleets reduce operating costs. Developed in Europe using world-class facilities and cutting-edge technology, the range has been rigorously tested and validated across multiple European markets and operating conditions to meet the highest standards in terms of performance, safety and reliability.”

The complete EnduMile range will be displayed together for the first time at IAA Transportation 2026, which takes place in Hannover, Germany, from 15 to 20 September, following the event’s press day on 14 September.

Visitors will be able to view the tyres at Apollo Tyres’ stand B34 in Hall 12.
